We are providers for many PPO insurances and Medicare. Please always check with your own insurance carrier and verify your eligibility with them prior to your appointment. There are numerous insurance companies, even more individual health plans and variable benefits, so it is your best interest to understand your insurance plan.  Out-of-network and self-pay patients are welcome, however prices may vary depending on services. The Skin & Wellness Center is not authorized to make any guarantees regarding coverage. Participating plans and insurance contracts are subject to change without prior notice.

Although we are not on HMO plans, we regularly see patients out of network or as self-pay. We are happy to take care of your dermatology needs and can help to provide you estimates of benefits and charges on advance of your visit. FAQ: How much does it cost to see a dermatologist?

Typically, your specialist office visit is a flat fee of  $295.

FAQ: How much does it cost to remove a growth?

Removing a small growth usually costs around $100-$450 for typical moles or warts, depending on if stitches are used.

We understand that conflicts arise and you may need to cancel your appointment. If this occurs, please try to notify your physician’s office at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. We will reschedule your visit for a date and time that is more convenient for you.

If you are unable to provide 48  hours notice for a cancellation, we still appreciate a phone call to let us know so we can make the time available to other patients.

 No-Shows and Late Arrivals
We ask that a 48-hour notice be given for rescheduling or cancellations. Thank you for your consideration. A  minimum $50 “No Show” fee applies to all medical appointments that are not canceled and $100 for all cosmetic and surgical appointments.

A 48-hour cancellation notice is required prior to your appointment date to receive a refund of your appointment guarantee. If you cancel within 48 hours, including appointments made within 1 days of your reserved time, you will be charged the full $50 amount of the appointment guarantee. For established customers, this amount will be billed to you and added to your account. Declined or invalid credit card numbers may result in cancellation of appointment without prior notice. Personal checks will be accepted for pre-payment of reservation balance only if received at least 14 days prior to your appointment. Checks will not be accepted if received less than 14 days prior to your appointment. Reservations made for surgeries, laser treatments, cosmetic services, and Mohs surgery require cancellation 7 days prior to your appointment. Cancellations within 7 days of these special appointment are subject to the forfeit of $100 procedure appointment guarantee.

All new client reservations require a reservation guarantee to ensure fair access by all patients to available appointments. You may guarantee your appointment by a major credit card or Paypal. For general reservations, a $50 appointment guarantee is charged upon booking; for  surgical or procedure reservations, $100 is charged upon booking. Reservations made with declined or invalid credit cards are subject to cancellation.

All rates are currently subject to individual insurance company determined contracts and rates that may not be reflected in the total cost estimate . Prior to appointment confirmation, all rates are subject to change without notice and based upon limited availability.

Check-in time is 15 minutes to your appointment. Check-out time is 1 to 1 1/2 hours after your appointment. Check-out time is greater for surgeries and procedures. Mohs surgery check-out times vary from 2-9 hours.

We will make every effort to fulfill your preference requests; however they are not guaranteed. Additional charges apply for all procedures, and some services and requests are entirely self-pay.

You must be 18 years of age or older to be seen without a parent or legal guardian.

Office visits do not include any procedures, surgeries, or supplies. There is an additional fee for all procedures.

For all acne treatments and cosmetic facial services:

In order to remain on schedule for all our clients, we must shorten your treatment time if you are late for your acne treatment or facial appointment. The normal fee for your treatment will remain the same.
